1. Infinity
Infinity is a new nightclub in Chiang Mai just off Nimmanhemin Road in Soi 6, also known as Prasertland / Kad Cherng Doi. With its nicely designed outside sitting area and its stylishly decorated inside area, this nightclub is the newest hotspot among Thai youngsters. DJs play a mix of hip hop and dance music, while live bands get you going with the latest Thai pop and rock songs. In the outside sitting area you can relax and enjoy the beautiful crowd passing by or watching a live football match on big screen while zipping from your whisky coke. Prices for food and drinks are comparable with other clubs and bars on Nimmanhemin Road. This new nightclub is highly recommended and will surely satisfy your nightlife cravings.

2. Fabrique
Fabrique is one of the biggest and most popular nightclubs to be found in Chiang Mai's nightlife. The entrance of the club can be found through the lobby of the President Hotel on Wichayanon Road. Once you enter the hallway of the club, you can choose to relax in the classy outdoor lounging area or in one of the two distinct indoor areas. In the indoor area on your left-hand side, you'll find Thai live bands playing all famous Thai hits followed by a DJ who spins a mixture between pop and hip hop songs. In the indoor area on your right-hand side, you'll find yourself a techno DJ entertaining all dance lovers in Chiang Mai. The sound system in this place is extremely good. It is not always easy to park in front of the club, but if you come early enough you should be able to find a parking space and a table.

3. Warm Up Cafe
Warm Up Cafe has to be one of the most popular places among young, trendy locals and university students in Chiang Mai's nightlife. There are two dancing floors inside and a big terrace outside to chill out. The inside area features Thai live bands and DJs playing all kinds of styles and can get quite packed during the weekend. The second and smaller dance floor near the entrance of Warm Up Cafe features a DJ spinning uplifting house and dance tracks and is more popular among foreigners as it is not so packed and is well air-conditioned. This place serves excellent food and is definitely worth a visit whenever you’re in Chiang Mai.

4. Mandalay / The Dark / Scratching
The Mandalay complex, located on the southern end of Moon Muang Road, can be divided into three zones, namely Mandalay, The Dark and Scratching. On the first floor you’ll find the main bar, Mandalay, which is a huge club with a stage where both Thai and international live bands perform. They also show some very interesting coyote shows on the main stage. The Dark is located on the third floor of the complex and is a house and techno club which plays very decent tunes. Scratching, also located on the third floor, opens its doors after midnight and features some of Chiang Mai’s best hip hop DJs.

5. Hot Shots
Hot Shots is located on the first floor of the Porn Ping Hotel, which is 5 minutes walking from Chiang Mai’s famous night bazaar. The club is very popular among both Thais and foreigners and features a DJ playing banging techno tunes and sexy live bands singing Thai and English songs. Drinks and food are served at very reasonable prices. Perfect time to have a blast in this place is after 11pm. Note: Weekends at Hot Shots can get quite crowded.
